Very fun to make. And, again, thanks Buzzinbumble for the great tutorial.
It is really great to see how well your leaves turned out! Love them! You did great picking your fabrics, they look wonderful! Although it certainly would have been fun to have you fabric shopping with me!
;)
When I signed on this morning I wondered why all of a sudden more people were making nice comments on the tutorial. Thankyou for sharing with us all! By doing so you brightened my day in more than one way.

I was curious about how the tutorial pattern was turning out for folks. My original leaves measure 6" also, but I guess the pattern isn't coming out as large. I know the word and .pdf files changed how much of a page the leaf pattern took up. Did you use the pattern from those or the pattern shown in the tutorial? The nice thing is they are easy to resize to whatever size you like. I made some 12" ones for hot pads for the Thanksgiving table, but at that big they loose some of their charm.

Denise I would have never thought to try a fabric like that, but love how yours turned out! They seem like they would work beautifully year round. I bet your DH's GM will love them too!
