I think that using the ruffler attachment would make it easier rather than gathering, however, I learned a trick from a crafter years ago, she took a thicker thread - like quilting thread, did a wide zig-zag over the thread, then it was no trouble at all to gather the fabric. Just FYI and I found that besides making the gathering easier, you didn't have to worry about pulling too tight and breaking the gathering stitches.

Those are pretty flowers! I wonder if you could put the hair clips on the back and put them on the baby stretchy head bands? I"ve seen the head bands done with artificial flowers but those could be made to match a special outfit.
If it isn't a copywrite violation, I think we need a tutorial on them for QB.
