It occurred to me that I really only post pictures of projects with feathers...a reflection of my own personal preferences, I imagine. But, that isn't the only sort of work that I do. Below is a crosshatched Christmas table runner and a "butterfly" quilt (okay, minimal feathers in the sashing on this one). Batting on both projects is 80/20, quilted with my 30" Gammill.

That's so funny...I've been using it for cutting/layout for so long that I forget that there is actually a pool table underneath my cutting mat! Really, it's an excellent size for our kind of projects and a great height. I highly recommend it, if you've got room for one!

WOW ! Feathers are like frosting to me .... pile them on , you will know when the cake has had enough!

Could I ask how you do your feathers...? They are so gorgeous and so artistic. Do you stencil, use paper, or simple freehand? However you do them, keep it up, and share the secret!

I like that your quilting enhances rather than overwhelms the quilt. And, feathers are nice but obviously not appropriate for all quilts so its nice to see your other quilting "styles" are just as nice as your feathers.

Love the multi-purpose table and the huge cutting mat.
