There are now no WIPs left in my house, as this was the only thing hanging and hanging around. It can now be thrown on the floor as a gift and needle catcher under our Christmas tree.

I wish there were some way to really capture the fabric in this quilt, because that's the spectacular part of this. The blue is speckled with stars that reflect rainbow light, like tiny pools of oil. The white looks like it has been sprinkled with glitter and the two together catch and throw light like crazy. I think it's going to be great under the tree. My DH is red/green colour-blind, hence the blue, and it works for him!

What a beautiful tree skirt. The fabric sounds so interesting. Now get busy and start some replacement WIPs. What kind of quilter are you?!!

That's what this one is - my newbie skirt! My first HST even if they are extra large.
But the fabric is so gorgeous, I'm letting it carry the day. :-)

My DH was passing by the computer when I was looking at your photo and he said, "Wow! That's really pretty!" I had to laugh because he is also colorblind. More than just red/green, he has trouble distinguising any colors, but he could see this clearly. Maybe I need to think about a blue tree skirt here as well! Love your pattern. Great job.
