Lets play pick the background for the Lone Star
Making this mini lone star. I originally planned it with the darker center of the star and the lighter background (you can see in the audition the pieces are already cut). Since then I bought a new blue fabric and it just happened to be sitting on my cutting table waiting to be laundered and I thought I'd audition the star on it.
So here are the four versions with the star flipped one way then the other, and the two different backgrounds.
Forgot to mention - they're not sewn together yet. They were, but I had to rip them apart and fix some seams because I had a big ripple in the middle
What do you guys think? The first pic was my original plan, but I'm not so sure now.

I prefer the light background -- it really makes the star stand out. As to the layout, I think I like # 2 best (with the dark blue toward the star points).
