These are both potholders, but they're quilted. The tree will be a Christmas gift for a couple who loves creepy things, so my goal was to make something creepy, yet festive.

Here is one I did as a monthly quilt block for my mom several years ago, by Wooden Bear. It finished at 12".

I think a few years ago there was a swap with Sunbonnet Sue witches. Does anyone remember that? I thought they were cute, but didn't have time to do them. If you participated and you did a quilt.....does anyone have a picture of their quilt? Would love to see it!

Oh these are all so fun! I've always said I was going to make myself a halloween quilt (oh, and did I mention I've bought the fabric, pattern, etc. and STILL haven't done it?!).....but the closest I can come to something to share is a panel quilt that I just finished for my daughters house. She just bought a house and one of the things that makes it "home" to her is having a quilt rack with wall quilts (I guess you know how my house is decorated!). Anyway, I just gifted her with a quilt rack and this little quilt to enjoy for the season. My two year old granddaughter loves it! Nothing fancy in the quilting but I do love the flanged binding that I used to finish it.

Here is one on my design wall - it is all from stash. It is based on the quick strippie quilt pattern at Maryquilts.com.
