i have just bought the dresden plate ruler, its a lovely pattern and cant wait to have a go... also use it for grandmothers fan designs.

Thanks everyone! I was able to get a few more wedges cut out last night from the scraps I had and now need to find some more prints similar in style to keep going. I don't have the ruler yet but got a cut out pattern online to just try it out. Think I will be investing in that ruler now!!

My first thought was how pretty it looked.
Second was smart DH.
Then I realized the background will not be the background. What a shame, so pretty just the same. It will be even lovelier when completed.
