I just had to share this. It was easy and I stayed up till now to do this. Plus, I was chatting and working on other blocks. I really like this block and will be doing it again. I enlarged the strips to 5 1/2, 5 1/2 and 10 1/4. Instead of the 2 1/2" strips. It has My Lil' Pony fabric with flowers and butterflies. Really scrappy but I think it turned out cute. :) I am going to bed now...it's almost am! Gotta get up early! ;) .....maybe?

Now I now how to make my almost 5 year old GD a doll quilt. That is a great idea to enlarge the pattern. One block made a nice quilt. Yesterday I received my share of pot holders in the mail from the pot holder exchange. I had them sitting on my table and first thing I knew she had them using them for bedding in a cake pan for her Barbie dolls. I told her those were not for her to play with but promised I would make her a quilt! So Grandmother now has to get busy!!
