    For everyone interested in the borders....

    I took 2 1/4" colored strips, placed 3 1/2 " brown strips on either side. Cut them at 1 3/4". Arranged the colors, then began sewing them together offset, center of block with edge of next. Then I trimmed off the irregular edges at an angle to create angle of colors. This is very easy, but time consuming...and you end up working with biased edges....so startch well!!!
