Charisma you did a wonderful job and the quilt looks as lovely as your memories sound. Very nice.

I can tell you the sweet smell of lilacs in bloom is so pretty. My grandmother had lilac bushes planted around her patio and it was my favorite place to sit while in bloom..just read a book in a patio chair..what lovely memories.

When I received this quilt I immediately thought of that and it gave me sweet memories.

This is a lovely quilt. I quilted charisma curls in all the purple areas and quilted a wreath in the white centers...it just seems so sweet and pretty.

I used Hobbs polydown batting. I quilted this freehand on my INNOVA. I did use a chalk pencil to make a circle in the center of each block for a point of reference. It washed out without any problems.

Thanks for looking.
OH MY MY GRANDMOTHER HAD THEM ALSO SHE HAS BEEN GONE SINCE 1977.I HAVE A LILAC OFF OF HER SPROUT MY HUSBAND HATES TO MOW AROUND ANYTHING.I TOLD HIM IF HE EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT CUTTING IT DOWN I WOULD KILL HIM (GRAVE YARD DEAD). MY AUNT USES THAT TERM ALL THE TIME.YOUR QUILT IS BEAUTIFUL. THANKS FOR SHARING.
