    Lily gone wild

This is a Cut Work Portrait - of another sort! This is a picture of a Lily - taken by WildYard. She planned to help with the testing (before her heath issues), and this was one of the pics we planned to use.

The background fabric is a wild piece I got at JoAnns, I think it was called Funky Paisley or something like that.
I plan to put a stripe binding on it. It is on a half yard of fabric.

My thoughts exactly! This is stunning & I think the striped binding will just be the crowning touch.

Ohhhhh, that is so wonderful. I am so sad I didn't get to do it myself. I still hope to do it just for the practice and experience, tho. What you did is amazing and stunning!!!

I believe UFOs are like scraps, ferns and dust bunnies. Once you get two, they send spores out into the air and more just happen anywhere the spores meet.

That is a very striking quilt. It's almost art deco in style. Beautiful job.

That is absolutely beautiful!!! Did you use a pattern? If so where did you get it. I would love to have it.
