This is amazing, isn't it? I actually like all the layouts because I like the log cabin period. Beautiful work.

The arrangements are all beautiful. What a wonderful quilt you will have for your husband. I have made some small log cabin quilts and arranging the blocks is so much fun.

Fortunately we both came to the same conclusion, regarding a favorite- we both liked the layout in the third from the bottom the best, because it had a lot of movement and we liked the secondary designs. Still like a lot of the other layouts a lot, too, though! :)
And my favorite, too.

I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite layout!

I have only done a square for a sampler quilt. Had no idea you could do so much with one pattern. Now I need to make some blocks. Love your blocks and the one you chose.

That's the one I like. The others are quite common-though traditional is always a great look.

Number 1 or number 4 would have been my choice. By the way - what was DH's #1 pick?
Nice work - please share it when you're done. Thanks
