I am SO excited about this pattern! It looked really difficult yesterday when I started but the blocks went together in one day!
I used a cashmere scarf (with fusible interfacing behind it for stability) some silk taffeta, an embroidered ultra-suede, an embroidered taffeta and some black cotton-lycra. All scraps from what will be the front of this quilt (handmade appliques from a silk organza embellish that!! Pics when it's done!)

Looks nice - I'm glad you mentioned the fabrics you are using - I'm in a rut of thinking "quilting cottons only"

    Exquisite!

I absolutely can't wait to see the finished product.

(even though you said it was easy, it looks difficult!--and you certainly have an eye for color!)

It will be the center, back side of the quilt I am making for my son and daughter-in-law. It's only my third, so I am even more excited as things come together!
