Here is the quilt girls...It turned out a little different from the original pattern.( My unintentional design re alignment) But the top is ready to be quilted. Maybe next one, Leslee, will be more in the image of the original, in batiks though. :D

That's very pretty Sandra. Are the flowers appliqued or embroidered. Nice one

They are appliqued. But I am thinking of a little more....here is the new idea.

Thought they were but didn't want to say in case I got it wrong :) I love applique, like the pictorial view of an applique quilt. Really like the way you've extended the inner pieced boarder into the miters of the outer boarder. I think your additions look great and the leaf shapes you have added in the center create a circular frame for your cental block, very very nice Sandra

Great looking quilt. I like both of them but I think the second picture looks a little better. Keep up the great work.

Those new blue leaves really bring the center & the border together, it's going to be a lovely quilt, what size is it?

The center additions really draw your eye. Have you thought of combining a couple of the blues to make a butterfly?

Thank you so much. My son thinks I should put "Bumbly bees" around some of the flowers, hadn't thought of a butterfly. As the blue leaves are only pinned I have a little more thread work to do.....better get to it. Again, thank you ladies!
