Hi! Here are the closeups of the little dresses in my photos. The crochet dress I purchased because it reminded me of a dress my mother made for me when I was a child. The other dresses remind me of the dresses I put on my daughter in the early 60s. Thanks for the interest.

The smoking on this dress is beautiful.

So sweet!

Wish I could crochet like this!

Oh my goodness! These are just the most darling dresses! Look at all the beautiful hand work!! Thanks for showing them up close. I would love to see a little girl dressed up in them. Do children dress like this anymore?

Those are adorable!!! My little Olivia would look adorable in those! I do have the dress that my mom brought me home from the hospital in. I thought about giving it to my daughter for Olivia, but found that the fabric is just way too thin now.

I find the problem with dresses from 60s or earlier all need ironing. Not as convenient as new fabric for working moms. I do love them though.

Yes, ironing can be the problem.
I did, over Christmas find a shop that sold little dresses like those. They cost an arm and leg, but I got lucky and found a really cute one on sale for 1/3 of the price. Bought it up, now just have to wait for the little girl to grow a bit.
