Darling. I used to love to make "girly" things for my grand daughter when she was little. Used to add a matching little ruffle to the top of little white anklet to match the outfit too.

    Darling.

I just saw an outfit on a blog that had used tulle on a t-shirt. You know little princesses and ballerinas love to twirl. Thanks for sharing. :-D

PS: also love your color choices!

Sweet, I did this 18 years ago for my baby girl. Glad you posted, I forgot how cute and easy they are. I have 3 GD just the right age for this style.

I then made shorts from the ruffle fabric. You can also buy inexpensive shorts and sew ruffles around the leg hemline. Don't forget the hair assessories. You can glue a bow made from the fabric or ribbon to an inexpensive hair band. Buy inexpensive flip flops and glue the bows on. You will have a designer outfit for pennies.
How cute they turned out very nice and for a lot less.I made my great niece a dress for the powell county ky corn festival it was darling on her,I didn't get a picture though. that part I wish I did over,

You sure have a winner idea there. Sewing is fun. I used to make little shirts and also pjs for my children. Once I even made a lined suit coat. You sure can save a lot sewing for children.
