I made it, and outlined everything.

Your quilt is absolutely adorable! I would stitch 1/2" echoes. Also stitch in the ditch around the blocks.

Of course you would do the sid first.

WOW!!! That certainly is a lot of applique work! I love your quilt! It's perfect for your little girl!! I'm currently working on a wedding quilt that I'm hand-appliqueing. It's looking quite nice. I find hand-applique so relaxing. 8-)

OMG that is darling!! I would SID the patchwork on her dress and meander the rest around the doll, not stitching on the doll itself.

Forgive my lack of hospitality - it was late and I was tired.
Let me say that your work is really cute, and I'm looking forward to seeing it finished.
Whimsical quilts are so much fun, aren't they!

Oh that is cute. I would outline the outer edge of the doll, the dress and the bib and meander the background of the blocks. The borders could be meandered or do e's and hearts or if you are a feather person, the border is a great place for a feather. It all depends on what you like and where you are with your FMQ. It is a darling quilt and just needs quilting to hold it together and not detract from those adorable dolls.
