And of course he likes the back the best because it has dinosaurs, LOL. (Backing is a sheet I picked up at Goodwill)

That is one happy little guy and your quilt is beautiful!

Just thinking about all of the pleasure he is going to get looking at all of those different blocks (as well as keeping warm) has to make you feel good!

Your grandson is adorable and his grandma is creative and talented. I love both front & back of his quilt. Isn't Goodwill great for finding the perfect items to make our quilts perfect for the person we're making them for.

I cannot wait to be a grandma (but it will be at least a decade and for the sake of my boys hopefully a bit longer than that as Joe is soon to be four and Ethan is six). Joe is actually my son. I seem to be the only one in my family with a love of the handmade, so I fill in with the presents I know the in-laws would love him to have if they were more craftily inclined. I do so love that you called me creative and talented, it will keep a smile on my face all week.

And the Goodwill does seem to have quite a mystical way of "rehoming" items, it has not let me down yet and it feels so good to give new life to unwanted things!

Thank you all for the sweet comments, it is so nice to read them!
