    Little Star Square 3/10

I just stitched this up tonight, just a little something. I'm thinking about making more and turning it into a quilt for my daughter. The background fabric says "2000" on it and that is the year my daughter was born.

    Thanks for looking :-)

Really cute, I love how the star pops out from the blue, I also have and enjoy the 2000 fabric.

Love that pattern, really stands out on the dark blue background
A home is built of peace and love,
and not of wood and stone,
    a place where happiness lives
    and memories are sewn.

Very nice block. I had that fabric and used it on a quilt for my youngest son when he graduated from high school. Also had white with silver 2000 on it - so used both. Man that just seems like yesterday - how time flies.

Very cut! Good use of a dated background fabric. Will you be doing all the stars the same color of various colors?

Nice job! This would be great for a quilt and I like the 2000 fabric! I think it's perfect for your daughter since it's her birth year! Please post your progress on the quilt... Thanks for sharing!
