A wall hanging I created from my own ideas. No pattern, just me...my second try at applique...for some reason the whole thing came out curvy...not flat...which I'm a little upset about but oh well.

What do you think?

I love the concept - it't nice to see someone willing to have a go at their own thing. Don't worry about it not hanging quite right, unless it really gets to you. If it does, then why not add a small sleeve at the bottom, and slip a little dowel in it to straighten it up. Only you will know you did that (apart from all of us here, that is, and we won't tell!)

It's really pretty, I love it!

If the curve bothers you then lacelady's idea is a good one. I also saw once on here that someone, think it was Izy, had a wall hanging and sewed a triangle across each corner on the back and put 4 dowels round the edge like a frame so that it was really square and flat. :D
