I think that you have done an unbelievably co-ordinated quilt with an exact pattern, but done it with scraps. From a distance, you would swear that you purchased blue fabric, red fabric, yellow fabric, etc. to arrive at that perfect look. I would say that you have engineered perfection. Great heirloom quilt.

What a treasure! I say that quilting is 'connection through creativity'.....and your quilt of memories is a wonderful example of that. Those who were blessed to have garments made from fabrics represented in the quilt will have a special time remembering this or that dress, shirt, or pj's. Love your cross-stitched label. Thanks for sharing.

I see why this quilt has special meaning for you. It is padded with memories and wonderfully named. I was working on a quilt while going through breast cancer treatment when the planes hit the World Trade buildings on 9/11 and I felt the same about that quilt. You are a sensitive, imaginative quilter. Love your quilt.
