    it's called interlocking squares. this is where i found the pattern i used. yes it is partial seams but easy. http://quilterscache.com/I/InterlockedSquaresBlock.html

    Well looks like someone found a link for the pattern. Here is what I came up with though. Just winged it. turned out 8 inch. Pretty easy

    LOL mine wasn't the same as the pic. I should have done a bit shorter strips and wider. Someone said it could be done without the partial seam. I'm not sure how. That's what I used.

    I spoke too soon. I thought you could piece this without a partial seam. But after studying it, I was wrong. Oh, well. Nice thought. Sorry if I got any of you excited at the prospect:-(

    It's pretty, but I am anaphylactic allergic to set-in seams. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! LOL
