I started with mainly foresty greens and woody browns, but soon got bored with those and started cutting up brighter greens, golds, oranges and basically anything else I could lay my hands on that sort of blended, it will be very scrappy, I just kept throwing them in a pile on the floor and imagining it to be a pile of autumn leaves until I was happy with the mix LOL!!

I can't get onto the board as much as I used to Deecee, but I will make sure you get updates as soon as I have some progress to share with you all

That's easy, she is a wonderful lady!! I was caring for her full time until my DH fell ill with cancer back in February, I have only been back to see her a couple of times since as she lives over 200 miles from me, but we keep in touch by phone. She used to do patchwork many years ago and has been totally fascinated by all the new techniques, the reason I decided to use vilene and foundation piece this block, was so that we can hand sew some of the blocks together while I am visiting her, we love to do things together

If the rest comes out as nice as that first block, it will be a spectacular quilt. Your color choices are great
