I love the pattern and the way you arranged the fabrics. I don't recall ever seeing just 2 fabrics used for the each block but I love how it came out. I just made the log cabin blocks with my DSIL for her quilt and it is very laborious.

I, too, like the second better. However, you may want to wait to sew them together until you have more blocks done. Unless it's going to be a table runner. Love log cabin. Saw one on this board once where it was only two colors and it started as a swirl in the middle and continued out. (One of the middle four was reversed). Log cabin quilts are full of variety just waiting to happen!!! Nice job!

How do you want to quilt it? I like the first if I was going to do a madalion in the white space if not I like the other. I want to do one, soon. Beautiful.
