I always love quilts made with Thimbleberries. The fabrics are always so warm & cozy. Your quilt is beautiful & your quilting really is perfect for the final touch. You are a fantastic quilter. Someday I hope to get better at FMQing but until then I will just drool over quilts like yours. Thanks for sharing your masterpiece with us.

Mary and Connie are from Iowa and used to have a shop called Country Threads. Mary still has a blog and it is so interesting to follow. Their quilt shop was in a chicken coop. which was remodeled many years ago. They are retired now, but still make quilts and share ideas with their followers. Her blog is called Country Threads Chicken Scratch, if you care to check it out. She also loves animals, so includes stories about them in her blog as well. She has a lot of followers.

Your quilt is gorgeous and the quilting is beautiful too. Amazing work. I agree that Thimbleberries fabrics are very close to CW fabrics and I love both.

That was the layout in the pattern. That's why I chose it because I really liked it. I have made another log cabin in which it was more of the "traditional" layout.

BTW...thank you!

Just lovely truly inspiring. You did an amazing job with the quilting too.
One of my first projects was the log cabin pattern.
