Great quilt and great quilting! I love the simplicity of the straight lines and your idea is something I may 'borer' when I have a LC to quilt

Heather, here is how you find time to quilt on a cruise. LOL! (Back on ship after an excursion at St. Thomas, VI)This is a full size quilt I took to hand quilt. While standing in the buffet line one day I was talking with the guy in front of me. He said, Oh, you are the lady quilting up on the lido deck. He had only seen me from the back at that point. LOL! On our first cruise DH would fall asleep in a deck chair every afternoon. So I started taking a quilt to work on. He tells everyone he naps because I quilt and I tell everyone I quilt because he naps.
On one cruise I was up in the Crows Nest and a passenger asked if I could sew a button on a skirt for his wife. I did. Another, jokingly, asked if I could let out his tuxedo pants. LOL!Told him I could have but I didn't have the right color thread.
