Well one of my twisted log cabin books came today, except it isn't a book. It is a set of templates There are 3 styles of borders and the twisted log cabin template. They are the plastic templates like the one you use for quilting and I figured out a way to use them with out paper piecing and I have it down pat. I have 9 blocks going and they are looking so nice. I'll post a picture when I get the quilt done. Have a great evening, Huggies, Fay

Well my book the Log Cabin With a Twist came today and it has these triangles in it so now when I get the one done that I'm working on, I can pick this up and try it again. It has the full size triangle in it and I can get some of that plastic template material and try to make another template with that and see how it will go. Except I won't cut away the parts. Any way, this book has a lot of great ideas for design lay outs and such. I love it. I have about 3 more rounds to get done on the squares ones that I'm working on now so I best get back to it. I'm glad I did not do any thing with the triangles that I already made. Huggies, Fay

I can't imagine making this and not have it be paper pieced! I really like this look also and this is in the line-up of patterns to make.

WOW!!! It's like working with Fibonacci numbers!!! We drew lots of designs using the calculations and I never once thought of the idea of making a quilt!!! You have to show it to some math gurus. BUT....don't let them measure anything. They are to enjoy it with their eyes. It's beautiful!
