The Muvit foot is a special foot that comes on the brother dreamweaver machines or the babylock versions. It is a foot that has its own motor and provides a differential feed so that you can adjust how fast that the top layer moves in comparison to the bottom layer. it works better than a walking foot or accufeed. The foot is very powerful sews through many layers with ease and is good for difficult fabrics that hard to sew. The machine even the sewing only are quite pricey because of the foot, but I highly recommend them. I had a babylock espire before I upgraded and thought I would never trade her in, but I saw mine demoed at the LA County fair and just had to have it
