I probably wouldn't have picked these colors eihtr, but at least I'm using some stuff that I had on the shelves. My mother likes it also and that is great comming from her. She said she likes the smaller star better than the large one that I made. I have the wrong batting in that one, but this one will go great with my living room and kitchen decor so that is good. I like the colors, but I wasn't real sure if it would work on a lonestar and I used fat quarters on the star. This one doesn't have the "Y" seams. I made it from the tutorial that a lady had posted on this board. This is also the first time I tried the strada method and I think I like it better tham cutting out the individual diamnond shapes and piecing them. THe center on the strada methoid seem to match up better. I had a little bit of frog stitching on this one, but hey this is only 2 days of work on it too. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay

Lovely! The colour scheme is just perfect too- did you pick the fabrics or was it a kit?
