Default Long May She Wave

A panel given to me to do 'something' with. I wish I had taken a before photo of the panel. The side stripes on the frame were really wonky. I had to cut them completely off. I'm not exactly happy with the panel, but I did make this out of it. I was given another panel just like it, but if I can't square it up with the red stripe frame still on all around, I think I'll cut the whole frame and stars off and make my own frame around the panel. I like using panels, but some members don't because they don't want to 'figure' something to fit around it after you even them up. I used rectangles cut 2 1/2 x 6 1/2 inch and it came out 64 w X 83 long. I wanted it to continue to look like the flag waving in the panel.

It looks great! I try to avoid panels myself for that reason, they are hard to get squared up. But sometimes it is worth the effort as you have shown us.

Well, you not only did "something with" the panel, you did "something fantastic" with it. That's beautiful! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Another beautiful creation. 100% success in making the flag appear to move. You have an incredible eye for color flow and always have a unique solution for what most of us might consider a problem. Great job!
