These are hanging on the wall, so I took some sections of them.

These two art quilts were done with my hand painted fabrics.

Your art quilts are beautiful! I love how the stripes are shaded as if they're in shadow.

Thanks for asking for this! I'm a new Tin Lizzie owner who has only finished 2 stippled quilts. I've bookmarked this one!

Thank you and I tend to agree. Some quilts need more quilting than others. But sometimes they are so overdone that all anyone sees is the quilting.

That is how I quilt Franie. I am not about to show mine hahahahahah....I prefer the simple quilting and enjoy doing the freehand. I have made designs on my christmas quilts but all freehand.

It takes time to so intricate work and most of the ladies here want just what I do and it is reasonable. I can't imagine how much you would have to charge for all that fine work...
They have to pay for the computer--they run about $8000. They charge here $300-500 per quilt using computer. So they ohhh and ahh over the quilting which often is done by someone else.

I just love the back of the first quilt. Beautiful work. I don't have a long arm, wish I did, no place for one, but I love looking at the work of others.

Thank you Franie. I go by the rule that two bodies cannot occupy the same space lol...in other words. I want to see all the work I did to piece this quilt, not what is done after, to put it together..but that is just me and everybody has their own idea. To me the quilting should just be like the varnish to enhance the beautiful painting underneath.

I got my Gammill about four years ago and I love free hand quilting. That is all I will do and I don't like to be real busy with customers lol...just a little.
