    An additional comment to dunster: Make your light source come from the side. The reason for doing this is you will be able to see the shadows of your quilting. Jamie Wallen has a great YouTube on how to make a side light. If this type light does not work for your machine you may get an idea from watching it that will work for your machine.

    I like to blend my thread with my fabric. Before, I could not see the thread and had to “feel” where I had already quilted. Now I have this light and use it all the time. Love it. (A lot!!) Ellen
