    Now just think of all the small projects you could learn to do!!! Cell phone case / bookmarks / hotpads etc!!!

    Definitely need to think in a smaller scale. Thanks for the idea!

    What a great bag! I love the colors. Did you make up the pattern as you went?
    Between my neighbor giving me purse patterns and collecting a few on my own, I have somewhere around twenty patterns. :shock: I only tell you this because yesterday I couldn't find one that I wanted to use with some fabric I wanted to make a tote from. Is that crazy or what? I think so.

    Anyway back to that fun summer tote. You could sell those they are so special.

    Yes, I kept sewing until I ran out of my scraps. Of course, I was set aside a few scrap for the handles.

    The size of the square is 17 inches.
