Thank you for showing us what your DH made. Just acquired a used Grace frame which I am setting up to use. What sewing machine are you using with your frame? :-D

Creative and clever DHs are such a treasure.

One of my clamps broke and I replaced it with one from the wood shop. It is bigger and harder to open than the ones that came with the frame, so I will be watching for the smaller ones and stock up. It broke when the bungie popped it and it hit the frame. It will be a comfort to have a spare or 2 on hand.

Sorry can't help you with that one. My frame is for hand quilting not machine quilting.:(

I have a Grace II frame. It is appx 103" wide. I have a Brother 1500s machine on it. This has a 9" throat. The info on the frame says it will take up to a 15" throat. -- I suggest that you go to their web site and research the frame you have to determine your size options. -- I have had my machine 9 months and too often the 9"throat is too small. I make do since I just quilt for myself and sister, but I find my skills improving and some of the designs I want to do I need to do in sections, such as on a 8"or larger block. --- I have been researching the Bailey machine.

These look BETTER than the ones that come with the frame. My carriage hits them all the time and they are a PIA at the edges of the quilt. Maybe I need to check out the hardware store- these look great!

The solution works for me. Saving money is always a great thing. That means that there is more money for FABRIC, NOTIONS, BOOKS, PATTERNS, & did I mention FABRIC....
