I have this same frame, and one of the best features is how it can fold up against the wall when not being used. Of course, then it becomes my very large quilt rack! And the light/tray is keeps supplies right at hand. Just don't try and put your coffee cup on it (ask me how I know...) sigh...

Does yours have the rachets or not? I can not find a single picture online of one without rachets like mine. Fortunately it has the manual and everything else. The lady selling it had never got yo use it as it simply was too big for her house.

OK for now it is whiped down to get the dust off. We set it up in the living room. I still need to sew sleeves for it and then prep a quilt for hand quilting. For now I have some finnished quilts hanging over it. So it is a really an eight foot quilt stand instead of a frame butI am sooooooo happy and so is DH.

Mine looks identical to yours, so no ratchets. And it was probably around 2003 when I bought it. Did you get the sideclamps that it came with? If not I can send you a picture, they should be easy enough to make yourself.

The wooden blocks with the little rope attached? Sorry not sure. The lady said it was everything that had come with it.
