It's all about being in the right place at the right time.
I was at our local Goodwill last week and found an entire set of Joanne's Block of the Month - including the setting fabrics - all for $10. Day before yesterday my husband and I were at another Goodwill and I found 3 skillets that looked interesting. I hadn't heard of the brand GreenPan (I don't watch QVC or HSN). I bought the smallest one for $8 and figured I'd try it out and then maybe come back. Well, I hestitated when I shouldn't have because the pan is fabulous. While I was buying that bolt of fabric in one town those other 2 skillets were being purchased by another savvy shopper. I am learning that maybe it's better to take a chance and buy what interests me when I see it than to miss out on a possible really good thing.

My daughter used that fabric in a quilt she made!
It's in the blue 9-patches.
