WOW that looks great!
I bought some of the silver (and gold) ironing board fabric but haven't
made the covers yet for all my ironing boards. Some of them are odd
shapes and I will have to work on getting the covers cut right.

I have the new pad and fabric to make a cover setting next to my ironing board as I type this. However, I have to finish the quilt I'm working on before I redo the cover. My husband and 6 year old son remind me often that I need to redo the cover. Goofy boys - don't notice the dirt they track in on their boots, but they do notice my stained ironing board cover!

Ooooh, a nice fresh ironing board! I have used the tip from QB on ironing a layer of white freezer paper onto my ironing surface to keep it nice. When the paper starts to look nasty you just peel it off and put on another piece.
