I recognize that fabric! I think it's at least 30 years old--and I think I still have some! I'll have to dig around and find it. You have inspired me with that beautiful quilt to do something with all my decades-old fabrics.

I, too, love drafting my own patterns. It's a lot of fun being creative and coming up with something new and different. Of course, just because it's new to me, doesn't mean it's new in the quilting world. LOL But I have come up with a few patterns that no one has remembered seeing before, and that is really fun and exciting!

This is my interpretation of the BQ quilt. I was too cheap to buy the pattern, so I looked at all the pics on the Internet and came up with this. I've has the floral fabric forever and decided it was time to do something with it. It will have the same floral backing and binding. I plan to do a cross hatch on the floral squares, but don't know what to do on the rest. Any suggestions?
