What a super gift, both the machine and a husband that remembers and gifts you on your anniversary. For the first 13 years of our marriage my husband never remembered and never knew what the date of our wedding was, just that it was in May. The last 2 years he remembers, maybe because I've told everyone I know he didn't remember. Now that he does remember he says "happy anniversary" sometime during the day. Last year his plans were interrupted, he wanted to go to hamburger night at the Falcons club on our anniversary and I'm vegan! Our friends haven't recovered from that one yet!

you are going to love this machine...my husband did the same for me too! keepers...lol...if you haven't used the start and stop button, I would suggest that you learn that first. I did and it's so much easier to use, I have arthritis and sewing alot, makes my fingers hurt, your hands are free to hold the fabric this way, and use the knee press..& congratulations!

A big congrats. I have its forerunner the Janome 6500, now for 9 yrs, and really like it. I hope you will like your machine as much and get as much use out of it. Enjoy!

Thank you all for the Anniversary wishes. My husband is really enjoying all of his nice comments. You should know that about 5 years ago he got me a riding lawn mower to do yard work. I like running this presents much better.

Luck you! My hubby bought me one for Christmas when they were first on the market...Have loved it from the start,,,easy directions and so much fun to use. Just a word of advice, I use only Aurifil thread on mine. Maybe because that is what I started with, but it does not like Coats and Clark and ect....
    Enjoy!

I love it when hubbies spoil their wives when it come to sewing and quilting! Congrats!
I love to encourage people to feel good about themselves. You are beautiful to God and you are beautiful to me. You were put here for a purpose and you never know how much you have touched someone elses life.

Funny that you would mention forgetting other things, because that's exactly what I told DH when I unpacked her/it.
