When we camped in Davy Crockett Park in Tennessee, there was a lot of wild turkeys there. Of course they let you know when morning was near!

Love it! We have them and I give them birdseed or cracked corn and NOW, if I don't put it out they come and peek in my window! Lol They are so much fun! great photo.

I'm tempted to feed them, but we leave in the winter, so I don't want them to become dependent on me. They look well fed, though. They range all over the area, but they sleep in our tree. I wish I could get a video of the nightly take-off, because it's so funny. You can just FEEL each one getting up the nerve to begin the sprint before flapping her wings to get that heavy body high enough to land on the bottom limb - about 15 feet up.
