Our LQS had a yard sale today. Here's my haul!

The large bags were $1 a piece
The smaller bundles were $1 a piece and the money went to a group that makes charity quilts
The star table runners were 50 cents a piece, and the bags full of different strips were 50 cents a piece.

The high ticket item was the wool pillow that was $2

Can I sit beside you Elle? It isn't fair, they get all the bargains in the US!
Seriously, I am pleased for you, even if I am tinged green around the edges too.

The quilt shop rented out tables to people, the lady I bought most of the stuff from has switched from quilting to jewerly making and just wanted her fabric to go to someone that would use it and enjoy it. I got lucky, real lucky.

holey shamoley! what kind of LQS is that? when any real LQS around here (with 30 miles) has a yard sale, it brings the prices down from mortgage the house to don't buy the kids school shoes this year. i have never seen a sale like that. are they going out of business?

You surely can. the average cost of 1 metre (39" approx) of fabric herein spain is 14€ equalling 20.43$. Now you know why I am green with envy here    :(
