What a nice son you have :D They make unique bowls to hold all kinds of things. I have a friend that loves Elvis and I took one of my old Elvis records and made her a bowl last year for her "Elvis Room"
then framed the album cover for her too.

Those are gorgeous bowls. I love the non-symmetrical shape.

Way cool. He was bored and got to playing.. But it was so cute when he handed it to me, you'd think he made me gold...... For 28 he's still like a kid with moms gifts. :D

    Neat idea.

That happened to me when I was a child. I left a record on the back ledge of the car and it did that :-(

    HEY!
Do you know how many LP records I have hoarded through the years to recreate the planter I made for my mom when I was in the first grade??? Way to go David!
Have you considered putting an auto magnet underneath it for holding the pins? Or did I just get too excited about the project that I didn't look closely enough?

Those were great, we made them in the 50's they were popular. we cut out picture and glued them on. You just dip them in very hot water to shape them....brings back happy times :D :D :D
