Very nice!! I would echo quilt around the stars, stitch in the ditch around the squares (both inside and outside the border strips). Then I would look at it and see what, if anything, else is needed. I would not do any stippling or feathers.

That is so neat. Very creative to use the different animals in the squares. I would never have thought to do that.

That's fabulous. Love the unusual design and the fabrics are outstanding! Since I've only been a quilter for over a year, I'm not able to qive you any quilting advice. I usually ask my quilter best friend for her help in that area. I'm good at designs, fabric choices and piecing. I like hand-quilting, so I would suggest that instead of machine work.

I agree - NO overall meander. I have seen some pantographs that look like palm leaves (looong, sharp, point) which might be something to look into.
