I have a terrible time making scrap quilts, but am trying to take baby steps. Being too matchy-matchy limits me, but an unorganized scrappy makes me nervous to put together. I love everyone else's quilts when done, so will keep at it LOL Heaven only knows my scrap piles isn't getting any smaller!!!!

Can't comment on the quilt but the Gramma Sheehan sure rang a bell. I had one too.

OMG, that looks just like some fabulous vintage barkcloth curtain panels from which I made a jacket 20 years ago! I still LOVE barkcloth and should be thinking about remodeling that jacket so I can wear it again.

Your quilt is delightful!

That is a great quilt and I love that your son immediately laid claim to it.

It takes talent to create something from a scrap of fabric. Beautiful job!

What a great way to use a large print fabric. I love the way the look changes when cut into squares and sewn back together!!
