    I know they give a blue ribbon for first place.. but what color is "freaking phenomenal???" 'cause that's what this quilt should get!!! (should be tyedye I think..lol)

    Prize or no prize you must feel so proud of yourself! It's really lovely. Not many will take the time to do applique work anymore and your work is just wonderful. Here is a Blue Ribbon from me!

    Yup,It is needle turned applique. I got hooked this summer, and couldn't quit till I finished this one Now I am working on a table topper that has been shown here several times, but only shown as fuseable. I am doing it needle turned to see what the difference will be
