It looks good, and it is a learning process. The secret is in the accurate 1/4". Lots of tuts on the web to help. But this looks great, don't obsess about the points. as Eleanor Burns says "can you see when you are galloping by on a horse?"

Love your quilt. Your points are just nesting in the seams. Very nice

Looks great from where I sit. Welcome to the plight of all quilters-losing a few points here and there. I had some rather intricate points yesterday and pinned very carefully and sewed very precisely; when I got to the end of the second series I noticed I had run out of bobbin thread two inches from the beginning. That is my starting point for today. So, we all have issues with points in one form or another.

Don't fret over the points. If you look closely at the quilts pictured in quilting magazines.....the points and the joints are a bit haphazard.

Beautiful quilt, I don't see anything wrong with your points.

You can always say it was a design choice. Love the paisley fabric.

I learned from this board that it is called a "safety" quilt when it doesn't have sharp points. I have made quite a few of them. Your quilt is stunning!

OMGoodness Tartan ~ Thanks for the morning laugh!

I think newbee, that if this is the tutorial I remember Jenny says during the tutorial that you will lose your points. However, hopefully you read in this thread that another member called MSQ and they told her that the pattern as demonstrated does lose the points!

So newbee3 it is pointless to worry :0) I think your quilt is Gorgeous, I personally like your color choice better than the MSQ demo quilt!
