I lost my best Singer shears when I was 22 and at college. I found them 35 years later when I had to repair my Cogswell rocker that I had owned since that first apartment. They had been lodged inside the chair, wedged in the springs. No matter how many times I moved that rocker over the years, they never budged. It was only when I removed the fabric from the bottom, up ended the chair to reattach the arm, that I found them. Maybe if I had one of these, my scissors would not have been lost for so long!
