Kudos for you for getting it done. It is a great little quilt.

I sewed the extra line and saved close to 2000 of those tiny HST from a project once. I squared up about 20 of them and realized this was not a project for me. I sent them to a board member who likes minis.

You did a wonderful job on this sweet little quilt. Yes I keep my trimmings just like you do but I won't if the resulting HST is smaller than 1" finished (1 1/2 unfinished). I have a bag full of them that are already earmarked for two bucket list quilts. About as close as I will get to miniatures will be the small 6" blocks in FWS which is on my bucket list. Maybe someday, when I have grown old and senile, I will attempt a mini! LOL

Both quilts are beautiful. I keep reading about leaders and Enders. I was contemplating cutting up my scraps for these. I am rethinking the size to cut them to after reading you funny story!

All those little clippings go in to the scrap bag to make dog beds for the shelters. I don't have the patience to work with them. More power to you. Yours is darling.
