Love the colors. Would do a turning twenty , log cabin or maybe scrappy.

Scrappy you cut 20 -14 1/2 inch squares, lay them on top of each other and randomly cut shapes. Then you use a shape from each block to create a new scrappy block.

You can have Squares,Rectangles,Traingles,etc.

Reason to cut 14 1/2 inch squares is you need to divide into 3 or 4 eqaul parts across and down. This will allow seam allowance of 1/4 inch to sew back together.

Then sew 4 blocks in each row to form 5 rows. do a 1/1/2 inch close boarder and a 4 inch boarder to complete top.

Define "challenge"? I'd use it for a Storm at Sea...

If you really want a challenge.. how about a lone star.. I'm thinking that would be really striking. or perhaps a broken star. You could pull a contrast for background out of one of your fabrics.. like beige or lt blue.

Very nice for an all black and cream color quilt, but I would add a little bit of red with it or even a rusty color red, I agree about making a log cabin quilt with it.

Those are all beautiful fabrics. I wouldn't have any idea either.
