Welcome from Texas! What an awesome quilt you have made for your mom. She will absolutely LOVE it!. I have a ceramic cup that my daughter gave me in 1986 that has a mouse on front who is screaming out "MOM" (I just wanted to tell you that I love you). I cherish that mug to this very day & your quilt for your mom will be so special to her. I look forward to seeing you on this board & showing us the things you come up with.
